Reports To: Facilities Manager


This positiois primarily responsible for evenset-up ankeepinthe onsite and offsitbuildingiclean and orderly condition; cleaninrestrooms, dustingmoppingwaxing anvacuuminfloors anremoving trash.


Workwith a variety of team(full time employeesvoluntary and/or temporary) to coordinate and facilitatnecessary repairs and/or evenset-up.

Works cooperatively with other internal staff tcoordinate event booking logistics.

Checks equipment in and out with customer anidentifies any damages to exclude frodeposit.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Sweeps, mopsscrubs, anvacuums hallwaysstairs and officspace.
  • Dustssanitizeswaxesbuffs anstrips floorsancleanrestroomscommon areas, anwindows.
  • Emptietenants' trash and garbage containers.
  • Maintainbuilding, performinminor and routinpainting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Cleans debris from sidewalk.
  • Flexible weekly schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability tmulti-tasand work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
  • Sensitivity to diversity and people from a variety of socio-economiclasses.
  • Other duties may bassigned.

One to three yearrelated experience as a janitor /custodian; or equivalencombination of education and experience.


Ability to read aninterpret documentsuch as safety rules, operating anmaintenance instructionsand procedure manualsBi-lingual is an added plus.


Ability to apply basimathematical concepts.


Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive

variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer literacy knowledge including but not

limited to Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet software.
